Suicidal behavior is a multifactorial phenomenon influenced by an interaction of genetic, cultural, socioeconomic determinants, and each individual's unique history. Understanding the elements that enable adequate and continuous care is essential for overcoming crises and improving prevention strategies. The objective of this article is to identify the actions involved in caring for people with a history of suicidal behavior in the context of the Unified Health System, as published in the national literature. An integrative literature review was conducted based on the selection of eight articles. Content analysis was used, according to the method systematized by Bardin, after confirmation of data reliability by peers. Two categories were generated: Practices, methodological strategies, and organization of care in the Network; and Obstacles to Care. Among the practices, methodological strategies, and organization of care in the Network recorded in the studies, referrals, reception, and coordination between teams were cited, for example. Among the challenges, the often precarious working conditions, high demand, lack of professionals, and lack of training stand out. It is concluded that, despite the difficulties present in the services, it was still possible to understand the coordination of teams and community involvement in the care provided to people with suicidal behavior.
