Abstract

The anxieties surrounding human intelligence encompass a vast range of philosophical, ethical, and existential questions, from the very nature of consciousness to the implications of the development of artificial intelligence (AI). According to experts, "If something exists, it exists in some quantity. If it exists in some quantity, then it is measurable." This work presents the content of the lecture given by the author, as the honoree, at the XV Annual Meeting of IBNeC, held from November 26 to 28, 2025, at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP), in Recife/PE.
