INFLUENCES OF DISNEY CULTURE ON HUMAN POTENTIALITIES ACCORDING TO POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY

This article aimed to describe the processes of human potential under the bias of Positive Psychology and, from the educational influence of Disney culture by promoting the learning of new cognitive, socioemotional, and positive behavioral patterns, explain the reflection of this phenomenon in the quality of individuals' lives. As a study method, the narrative review was used, being a model that presents flexibility regarding the typology of the publications used. After screening, a total of 27 materials were selected, namely: articles (11), eBooks (3), master's dissertations (4), websites (3), books (4), Lato Sensu course conclusion work (1) and video (1). Through the qualitative analysis of studies focused on the organizational processes of The Walt Disney Company and on the constructs: Happiness; Well-being; Flowering; Virtues; Strengths of Character and Resilience, present in Positive Psychology, it was identified in the results that the internal training, “Traditions”, by providing a safe space for learning and the development of new cognitive, socioemotional and positive behavioral patterns in people, demonstrated the potential to serve as a Positive Education intervention for the promotion and increase of human potential. This article concluded that it is important to carry out further research aimed at the teaching potential of the Disney culture on the teaching and development of human qualities to be encouraged, and that such a tool serves to reach the current objective of Positive Psychology, being that of increasing the level of flourishing of individuals, groups, and institutions.
